We will clearly explain your rights and the court process that applies in your jurisdiction. Contact us today for confident advocacy and support from an experienced legal professional.
Dallas County and the city of Dallas are two different jurisdictions with different rules. If you have to appear in court, you can expect the process to take an hour and a half to two hours. We will sign in with you, advocate for you, and see that the details are covered. You simply show up.
If you receive a traffic citation in the city of Dallas, you have to make an appearance in court. We will, of course, go with you and advocate on your behalf at the initial hearing. The chance of dismissal after that first appearance is extremely high. We will make our best efforts to get your ticket dismissed based on the facts and legal circumstances of your case.
Dallas County and the Surrounding Counties
If you received a traffic ticket outside of the city of Dallas, you do not have to make an appearance in court. If you hire Mr. Gregg, he will appear on your behalf and advocate for a dismissal. While the chances of dismissal are equally as high in Dallas County and the surrounding communities, if your case is dismissed, you will face a probationary period. As long as you have no further violations during that timeframe, your case will be dismissed.
Failure to appear will result in a warrant for your arrest. If your case is not dismissed, we will appeal your case, exhausting all available avenues to keep your record clean, including advocacy in traffic court. The cost of trial is included in our fee. Our firm will provide you with full legal representation to the conclusion of your case.
We will clearly explain these distinctions in law, as well as your rights and obligations throughout the court process when you contact us.
